Complete the required fields within the displayed limits.Resting HR must be below maximum HR. Average HR must be between them.VT2 must be higher than VT1.Use 2–7 increasing boundaries between 30 and 250 bpm.Ranges show inclusive bpm limits. How it works
TRIMP: cardio load
TRIMP = minutes × r × a × exp(b × r), where r = (average HR − resting HR) / (maximum HR − resting HR). The coefficient pairs are 0.64 / 1.92 and 0.86 / 1.67.
This uses the same average-HR estimate as planned events in EffortSignal. Recorded workouts use the heart rate trace and can give a different result.
PSS: cycling power load
PSS = hours × (weighted power / FTP)² × 100. One hour at FTP gives 100 points. Use weighted power (NP); average watts only describe a steady effort.
TRIMP and PSS are separate scales. Do not add them or compare their numbers directly.
