Keutenberg
😍 BeautifulLight traffic

An average gradient compresses a whole road into one number. Keutenberg’s steep entry, Cuitu Negru’s final ramps, Timmelsjoch’s interrupted ascent, Cap Formentor’s ups and downs and Fedaia’s harder upper section show why the elevation profile matters.
5 selected routes, from 1.6 km to 25.6 km, with 88 m to 1,491 m of elevation gain.

Keutenberg begins with its steep ramp before easing. Cuitu Negru does the opposite: the longer approach from Campomanes includes the much harder final road above Pajares. Fedaia’s selected eastern profile becomes steeper beyond Malga Ciapela. Use the profile to locate those changes.
The Timmelsjoch approach from Sölden includes a descent before the final ascent. Cap Formentor from Platja Formentor also contains descending sections. Their averages cannot be read as the gradient you will hold throughout the ride.
The selection illustrates different shapes rather than a shared gradient threshold. The table uses the catalogue’s saved average for each exact segment. It does not estimate maximum slope, smooth away descents or assign a new difficulty score.
Average gradient describes the recorded route as a whole. Open a climb to see its elevation profile and how the gradient changes along the road.
