Two different days from Sölden

Timmelsjoch is a long pass approach with a descent before the final climbing. Its average gradient smooths out that interruption. Hochsölden is a shorter, much steeper road to the resort above town. It is not the separate glacier-road climb to Rettenbach or Tiefenbach.

Work outward along the valley

Kühtai starts at Oetz near the valley entrance, while Niederthai and Gries branch from Umhausen and Längenfeld. Include the valley riding or a transfer between them and Sölden. Timmelsjoch is a seasonal border crossing; the saved profile does not confirm today’s opening status.

Average gradient describes the recorded route as a whole. Open a climb to see its elevation profile and how the gradient changes along the road.
