Two starts for Mirador del Río

Órzola and Arrieta give different approaches towards the northern viewpoint. They lead to the same destination rather than two separate summits. The viewpoint’s visitor centre is a separate attraction; the road profile does not include admission to the building or its terrace.

Tabayesco or Haría?

Barranco del Chafarís appears from Arrieta via Tabayesco and via Haría. The shorter Haría-from-Arrieta profile is also listed, so parts of these routes overlap. Choose an approach instead of adding all three ascent totals. The high viewpoints can be windy; a modest whole-route gradient does not describe the conditions on the day.

Average gradient describes the recorded route as a whole. Open a climb to see its elevation profile and how the gradient changes along the road.
