The steep road of Côte de la Redoute above Remouchamps
Côte de la Redoute, one of the Ardennes’ best-known cycling climbs.

The Belgian Ardennes combine steep ramps with longer wooded climbs. Compare La Redoute, Stockeu, Wanne, Rosier and Roche-aux-Faucons as regional choices inspired by Liège-Bastogne-Liège, keeping each exact approach separate from the race stage.

Stavelot and Spa

Stockeu and Wanne via Neuville sit around the Stavelot area, while the selected Rosier approach starts in Spa. These profiles offer different lengths and gradients. Race itineraries can use another side or stop their classified climb earlier, so compare the saved road rather than borrowing a stage’s figures.

The climbs nearer Liège

La Redoute and Roche-aux-Faucons lie farther west than the Stavelot group. Plan connecting roads before treating all five as one outing. Roche-aux-Faucons includes an uneven profile, so its whole-route average can conceal the steep part. The Flanders cobbled hills form a separate destination.

Average gradient describes the recorded route as a whole. Open a climb to see its elevation profile and how the gradient changes along the road.
